Connect to your Minecraft server (Java and Bedrock)

Find your server address in the panel and join from Minecraft Java or Bedrock, plus fixes for the most common connection errors.

Find your address

Open your server in the game panel. On the Console page you see the Address, for example 147.189.169.104:25571. The part after the colon is your port.

Join from Minecraft Java

  1. Open Minecraft and click Multiplayer.
  2. Click Add Server.
  3. Paste the full address, including the port, into Server Address.
  4. Click Done and join.

Join from Bedrock (phone, Windows, console)

Bedrock players can join a Java server when Geyser is installed. Follow Let Bedrock players join with Geyser first.

  1. Go to Play → Servers → Add Server.
  2. Enter the IP address and the Geyser port (not the Java port) in their own fields.
  3. Save and join.

It doesn’t connect?

  • “Connection refused”: the server is not running. Press Start in the panel and wait for Done.
  • “Outdated client” or “Outdated server”: your game version and the server version don’t match. Change the version in the Startup tab, or play on the same version as the server.
  • “You are not whitelisted”: add yourself, see operator and whitelist.
  • Bedrock can’t connect: check that Geyser uses the extra port you created and that you typed that port.

Still stuck?

Open a ticket with your service name and the console error, and a real person helps you.
